Grand Strand Outdoor Living, Inc.


Based in Surfside Beach, SC, offering design and installation of most products related to outdoor living. Beginning in late 2017 (as “Enjoy the Shade”) Grand Strand Outdoor Living, Inc. became the initial exclusive authorized dealer for StruXure Outdoor (formerly Arcadia Building Products) in the South Carolina market. Since our relationship began with StruXure Outdoor, we have installed over 50 custom Pivot 6, Pivot 6XL, and Cabana X louvered roof pergola systems in configurations that uniquely blend with each residential and commercial property.

In late 2019, Jim Kenny, who has been a successful corporate executive and business owner for 30+ years, rebranded the company as Grand Strand Outdoor Living, Inc. This change now reflects more accurately the many offerings of the company such as motorized retractable screens and hurricane protection (through our authorized dealer relationship with Progressive MagnaTrack Screens), outdoor kitchen design and installation, in-ground pool design and installation, and water/fire feature design and installation.

Craft Masters Construction

Based in Conway, SC, Craft Masters Construction is the General Contracting business that oversees all aspects of the StruXure Outdoor pergola builds from acquiring permits, review/adherence to local code requirements, assisting with the technical aspects of the system design and logistics management for transport of the systems to the job sites. Craft Masters Construction also specializes in new home construction, remodels & custom woodworking.

Owner and builder, Adam Waigand, graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology majoring in Construction Management. He has worked in the construction field for nearly 20 years for various high-end home builders as a Superintendent.

After acquiring his Residential Builder Licence for South Carolina in 2018, Adam started Craft Masters Construction to serve a wider variety of clients. His vast knowledge and experience in home building and construction allows him to be able to not only manage but also work on most projects as well.

Pearce Construction Services

Based in Charleston, SC, Pearce Construction Services is the orgnization that provides our StruXure Outdoor certified, trained installers. They have not only completed all the initial training required to be certified StruXure Outdoor installers, but they are kept up to date with all the latest design changes and enhancements to the StruXure Outdoor products as they are released. This group of highly skilled individuals have built every StruXure Outdoor pergola system in South Carolina to date. With each system being a unique custom install, the experience gained through their home building expertise has equipped these craftsmen with the skills required for all of our installs.

Founded in 2007 by James “Butler” Pearce, Pearce Construction Services has provided their home building expertise to high-end home builders throughout South Carolina. Their experience includes all aspects of the build process from foundations to framing, to roof covering and everything in between. They also provide our motorized retractable screen installation, outdoor kitchen installation and hardscape installation.
